                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Volunteers play an important role at the Mill House as docents and by providing a variety of other services           to assist in areas of operations, conservation, research, and visitor services. If you would like to volunteer at         the Gomez Mill House and Historic Site, please contact us to set up an interview.

                                                                                                                                                                Trees for Tribs at Gomez Mill House - October 24, 2015

     NY Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Trees for Tributaries Program                       provided technical assistance, plants and labor for the project. This included planting about 130 trees and             shrubs, grading and stabilizing eroding stream banks and managing over 30 volunteers.                                             treesfortribs@dec.ny.gov

     SUNY New Paltz provided over 30 volunteers with their "Make a Difference Day" group. Volunteers                   installed erosion control fabric, planted native trees/shrubs and removed invasive species.                                       pattersm@newpaltz.edu
