TO GOMEZ MILL HOUSE
Gomez
Mill House is located on Mill House Road in the little town
of Marlborough. The Mill House sits on the Orange County
and Ulster County border. Mill House is 5.2 miles north of
the junction of Route 9W and I84 (Newburgh Beacon Bridge)
and ten miles south of the junction of Routes 44/55 (Poughkeepsie
Bridge). Gomez Mill House is on the West side of the Hudson

Driving Directions From
Manhattan
West on George Washington Bridge, upper level to Palisades
Parkway North, NYS Thruway to exit 17. Take 84 East toward
Beacon to exit 10 (about 4 miles). At the light, make a left
onto 9WN, 5.2 miles. You will see the Mill Creek Golf Course
and the Historic sign for the Mill House on your right. Turn
right. House entrance is on your left, shortly after first
curve.
Tappan
Zee Bridge West, turns into I87 (the New York State Thruway).
Take exit 17 Newburgh. Follow signs to I84 East. Take exit
10 Newburgh (it will also say last exit before bridge) go
down the ramp and make a left at the light. Continue north
on 9W, 5.2 miles. You will pass several small towns (Balmville,
Roseton). Slow down as you pass the Mill Creek Golf Course
on your right. Mill House Road is the first road after the
golf course, on your right (just before the Ulster County
sign).
Taconic
Parkway North to exit marked Newburgh East/I84 towards Newburgh.
Crossover the Newburgh Beacon Bridge (toll is $1.00) Get off
at exit 10 proceed down ramp on to Route 9W North. Continue
north on 9W, 5.2 miles. Slow down as you pass the Mill Creek
Golf Course. Mill House Road is the first road on your right.
From
the North:
Cross the Poughkeepsie Bridge to the West side of the Hudson.
Follow signs for Newburgh/Route 9W south. Proceed approximately
10 miles through the town of Marlboro. Mill House Road is
on the left.
From
New Jersey:
Take local roads to Route 17N. Go onto the New York State
Thruway North to exit 17 for Newburgh. Follow signs to Route
I-84E (Beacon). Continue on I-84E two exits to 10N (Newburgh,
9W). Turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto 9W-N and travel
approximately 5.2 miles to Mill House Road. Slow down as you
pass the Mill Creek Golf Course. Mill House Road is the first
road on your right.
From
Connecticut:
Take local roads to I-84W. Travel west on I-84 to exit 10N
(9WN). Turn right at bottom of the ramp onto 9WN and travel
approximately 5.2 miles to Mill House Road. Turn right and
follow signs to House.
Gomez
Mill House is marked North and South on Route 9W by Brown
Historic Site Markers.
Public Transportation
There is no direct public transportation to the Gomez Mill House. Public transportation will require you take a taxi to the Gomez Mill House after your arrival in either Beacon via Metro North, or Newburgh via Short Line Bus.

From Port Authority NYC, 42nd St. and 8th Avenue to Short Line Terminal in Newburgh.
